Swan Lake is returning to Dubai.

The Moscow City Ballet is bringing the critically acclaimed fairytale to Dubai Opera from November 26 to November 28.

Celebrated as one of the most famous ballet classics and set to Tchaikovsky’s legendary score, Swan Lake has been wowing audiences since 1877.

It tells the story of Prince Siegfried and Princess Odette who, under a sorcerer’s curse, spends her daylight hours as a swan in a lake of tears and by night turns into a woman.

Moscow City Ballet’s version will feature opulent designs, as well as imaginative choreography, breathing new life into the tale.

Tickets start from Dh300, with the price including a welcome beverage.

Swan Lake was last performed in Dubai in 2018, brought to the UAE by the Houston Ballet, The Orchestra of the National Opera of Ukraine and Stanton Welch.

The concert joins Dubai Opera's coming autumn line-up, which also includes performances by comedians Nemr, Michelle Wolf and Mo Amer, as well as Queen tribute band The Bohemians.

Swan Lake, Dubai Opera, Thursday, November 26 to Saturday, November 28; from Dh300. More information is available at dubaiopera.com
