The British pop-rock band Scouting for Girls will to the Emirates with a performance at the Dubai Opera on October 20. "You either love us or hate us," <a href="https://www.thenational.ae/arts-culture/music/scouting-for-girls-we-are-like-a-marmite-band-1.248398">he told The National</a>. Guitarist and vocalist Roy Stride, bass player Greg Churchouse and drummer Peter Ellardre are childhood friends from London who formed Scouting for Girls in 2005 after building their name through MySpace. They released their tenth anniversary edition of their debut in May and will be tour the UK from October to December after their Dubai performance. It will be the first time the Dubai Opera is converted into a flat-floor concert hall. Tickets go on sale Saturday, August 12 at 9am.
