Rowling to publish new novel
J K Rowling will publish her second crime novel on June 19, under the pen name of Robert Galbraith. The Silkworm is a follow-up to The Cuckoo’s Calling, which Rowling wrote using the pseudonym. The first book was published in April last year, to critical acclaim. Sales were low, but when Rowling was outed by a newspaper in July, they rose an astonishing 41,000 per cent in a week. – AFP

Amitabh Bachchan and Irrfan Khan will star in Shoojit Sircar’s new film, Piku.
