Cher is selling the key to Adelaide on eBay.

The Hunger Games star Josh Hutcherson said he cannot wait to work with the sequel film Catching Fire's new director, Francis Lawrence, who bagged the project on Thursday.

"Francis is extremely talented. I've heard he's the nicest guy in the world," he told E! Online.

"I'm really excited to see what he's going to do with it."

Lawrence, who helmed I Am Legend, replaced Gary Ross, who initially signed on for the trilogy.

Catching Fire is set to begin filming in the last quarter of the year.

Carey Mulligan marries singer

The actress Carey Mulligan and Marcus Mumford, the lead vocalist of Mumford & Sons, have tied the knot in England, according to reports by People magazine on Saturday.

Two hundred guests attended the ceremony, including Colin Firth, Jake Gyllenhaal and Sienna Miller, reported the Daily Mail.

Mulligan, 26, and Mumford, 25, were childhood friends in London and reconnected as adults.

The actress will next be seen in Baz Luhrman's film adaptation of The Great Gatsby.

Cher sells Adelaide key online

Officials in South Australia's Adelaide voiced their disappointment on Saturday at revelations that Cher had apparently put her key to the city up for sale on eBay.

The key and accompanying memorial plaque were being sold online by a user called Authentic_Cher who claims to be the musician's "personal consignor" selling her personal effects. It had attracted a top offer of US$52,145 (Dh191,500) by Sunday morning.

The Adelaide mayor Stephen Yarwood said he was "exceptionally disappointed".

"It must be very embarrassing for her if she is selling it because she needs the money," Yarwood told the Adelaide Advertiser newspaper.

The man who presented Cher the key, the former mayor Steve Condous, said: "I would have thought that getting the key to a city like Adelaide would have had some value to her, but obviously it doesn't. If she didn't want to keep it she should have returned it back to the city."

Bee Gees singer regains consciousness

The Bee Gees musician Robin Gibb has regained consciousness after more than a week in a coma, reported BBC News.

The 62-year-old contracted pneumonia earlier this month and is diagnosed with liver and colon cancer.

Gibb is reportedly able to nod and communicate with his family.

Big B song remixed by Sanjay Dutt

Bollywood's Sanjay Dutt has released a remix of Amitabh Bachchan's Thodi Si Jo Pi Li Hai, a track from Bachchan's 1982 comedy film Namak Halaal.

The song, composed by Bappa Lahiri, is being used to promote the two actors' forthcoming film Department, set for release on May 18.

The film's director Ram Gopal Varma told The Times of India: "I have always been a huge fan of the song and I thought Sanjay doing it would be a fitting tribute to Mr Bachchan's classic masterpiece."

Bollywood's Salman Khan endorses tourism in Cuba

Amitabh Bachchan did it for Gujarat, Shah Rukh Khan for West Bengal, Preity Zinta for Himachal Pradesh and Aamir Khan for India. Now Salman Khan has done his little bit for Cuba.

Star power in India has long been exploited for selling everything from toothpaste to undergarments. State tourism departments have also made the best of superstars in their ad campaigns to woo more domestic tourists. Recently Khan starred in a cameo in an ad campaign for Cuba, while he was there on a shoot.

Some states have also reeled in the benefits. Last year, Gujarat's tourism boomed so much that most believe it was the doing of Bachchan. Saina Nehwal, India's top badminton player, also did a spot of campaigning for Andhra Pradesh, which is not known for its tourism in India.

Taylor Swift to play Joni Mitchell?

The singer-songwriter Taylor Swift is in talks to play the Canadian musician Joni Mitchell in a biopic, reported Variety.

The film, an adaptation of Sheila Weller's book Girls Like Us, will feature the lives of three influential female musicians: Mitchell, Carole King and Carly Simon.

Swift, 22, told MTV News last month that acting "fascinated" her: "I've been reading scripts for about five years. In my free time, that's all I do. I just want to make decisions really carefully.

"I think, with movies, it's really important that you have to love something so much that you cannot think about anything else."
