Mariah Carey continues to be unlucky in love with news flooding the media today that the singer has split with her boyfriend, back-up dancer Bryan Tanaka.
Jealousy is said to have been behind the split, according to celebrity site TMZ. "Our sources say Bryan had unbridled fury over Mariah's relationship with ex-hubby Nick Cannon," tmz.com reports.
Sources who spoke to the media outlet said Tanaka felt “disrespected” when Carey and Cannon attended the Kids’ Choice awards together last month.
Carey and Tanaka, who got together following the breakdown of Carey’s relationship with fiancee James Packer, had been together for five months. The pair recently enjoyed a romantic break in Dubai, that included a visit to the Burj Khalifa, in February during the star’s visit to the emirate to perform at the Dubai Jazz Fest.
The split comes just a day after it was reported Janet Jackson and her Qatari husband Wissam al-Mana were parting ways, just three months after welcoming their son.
