Games Con is returning to Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre from October 24 to 26, 2019, to deliver a world of innovation and the ultimate gaming experience. Organised by the team that brings you the annual Middle East Film and Comic Con (MEFCC), it is the GCC's largest dedicated gaming event that will bring the region's vibrant and ever-growing community together. It's expected that 20,000 gaming enthusiasts will pass though the doors across the weekend.
Among the key attractions at the event, Games Con’s exhibition area promises a huge variety of gaming accessories, limited edition consoles, unreleased and first-to-play games, retro arcades and more.
Expect a Meet the Stars area, where you maybe able to get a selfie with your YouTube idols and get tips from pro-gamers. The Meet the Stars area typically requires an extra ticket to gain entry, you can purchase with your entrance ticket once the celebrities are announced.
Last year there was a dedicated Cosplay Catwalk for game fanatics, as well as an Artists' Alley, gaming tournament and an indie developer zone for independent video game developers from across the Middle East.
Ticket prices for the three-day event are yet to be announced, along with the star names attending Games Con 2019.
