Korean film Parasite has continued its award season sweep, taking home the Original Screenplay prize at the 2020 Writers Guild Awards.
Bong Joon-ho and Han Jin-won's thriller has already taken home a Golden Globe for best foreign language film, and the SAG Awards for outstanding performance by a cast, making history in the process.
It was also a good night for Taika Waititi, who took home the prize for best adapted screenplay for Jojo Rabbit. Both films are nominated for Oscars at next week's ceremony, which will take place on Sunday February 9, bringing awards season to a close.
Away from the big screen, the big winners of the night were HBO's Succession and Watchmen, while Chernobyl took the prize for original long form.
The awards took place in Los Angeles and New York simultaneously, with many of the film nominees gathering in Edison Ballroom in New York, giving them a shorter onward journey to London for the Baftas, which are set to take place on Sunday, February 2.
