Priyanka Chopra tweeted out a poster depicting the character she portrays in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Bajirao Mastani, a period drama which will be released on December 18.
The actress says her character, Kashibai, is a woman of “many emotions”, and says the big reveal is a pre-Diwali gift for her fans. “#KashiBaiPoster Simple ... Poignant ... Poetic ... Sanguine ... Bajirao Mastani chronicles the love story of Maratha Peshwa Bajirao I (played by Ranveer Singh) and Mastani (Deepika Padukone).
Chopra, who plays Bajirao's first wife, Kashibai, in the film, made her international television debut this year with Quantico, a thriller drama series on the US network ABC.
