This Saturday, January 21, head down to Al Quoz in Dubai for the UAE’s first potter’s market. Held at Yadawei Ceramic Studio and Gallery, the community of potters and those passionate about clay will be participating in this event. The studio is open for amateurs and professionals to come and use the wheels, throw clay and sculpt whatever takes their fancy. At the Potter’s Market Day, they will be showcasing their handmade wares in an exhibition and they are also up for grabs. It is a great opportunity to see some genuine local craftsmanship. Also, the studio are hosting free trial sessions all day to give every visitor an opportunity to get their hands dirty and to play with the clay. It is free entry fo all - even pets - and there will be food and refreshments for visitors. It is something for all the family.
