A student from New York University Abu Dhabi (NYUAD) has come up with a concept to encourage people to visit the museums as of next year when the Louvre Abu Dhabi opens and the others follow suit.

Bouthayna Baltaji, a senior student, visited different schools all over Abu Dhabi and asked the pupils to create collaborative works of art in a series of workshops. The idea was to encourage the creation and stimulate appreciation of art. The second step of her project is to display these works of art at Al Manarat Al Saadiyat, thereby creating an audience, of both pupils and parents, who will celebrate art and the experience of the museum.

The work is now on display on the island for the next year.
