Today could be the last day to sample Wissam Shawkat’s Ramadan themed commissioned work.
Placed in the beach at JBR, the piece is another illustration of Shawkat’s intricate calligraphy using Arabic letters.
The Iraqi is a renowned artist and painter and has exhibited his works in both Europe and America.
With Ramadan set to conclude tonight, it remains to be seen whether Shawkat’s piece would be moved to another location or remain a permanent fixture on the beach.
