Sushi Central is branching out from maki and gyoza into artistic ventures. It has launched a call for all UAE artists – or even regular punters like you – to create artwork to be displayed in their two branches in Khalidiya and Mina.

The theme is Japanese-inspired subjects but, like much pan-Asian food these days, that can be widely interpreted.

The work will go on the wall for around two weeks to a month, and all the money from any sales will be yours.
