Egyptian artist George Bahgory’s exhibition to open at Sharjah Art Museum

More than 90 mixed-medium pieces by Egyptian artist George Bahgory, some dating back to the 1950s, will be on display from next week at the Sharjah Art Museum.

Bahgory himself will open the exhibition on November 11, which run until December 31. The pieces range from Baghory’s student years to his more recent works and combines classic and contemporary styles with a comical twist.

Bahgory, who is also a sculptor, novelist, children’s books author and actor, has had his artwork displayed at the Louvre in Paris and in exhibitions around the world.

The exhibition opens at 6.30pm on November 11.
