Can you imagine how we will be using elevators in the sci-fi future? Will we be flying around in pods like something out of a movie? Perhaps we will have mastered the art of telepathic transportation...
Kone, a global elevator and escalator company has launched a competition for residents of the UAE and Qatar to design a future elevator to predict the flow of people in the coming years. “Being able to innovate and imagine the future has been one of our success factors,” says Noha Kadora, a marketing specialist with Kone Middle East. “We believe in nurturing creativity and originality and are excited to launch this art contest.”
The competition will open on Monday and run for the entire month of September. Kone are welcoming entries of all ages and in all media except the use of digital tools – in other words, the entries must be drawn by hand.
The three most creative drawings will win gift vouchers to Borders or Jarir Bookstore.
Scanned copies of drawings can be submitted before September 30 through Kone's website. The contest can be followed on Kone Middle East's Facebook page.
