Fashion savvy jet setters, your time has arrived. Online fashion retailer, Net-A-Porter has announced it will launch The Net Set app, allowing fashion lovers to stay connected while on the go. Uniting the site’s social media, fashion and shopping communities, The Net Set is built for the iPhone, iPad and the Apple watch. Linking consumers, curators, designers and brands in real time, The Net Set invites all parties to share their style and fashion inspirations, instantly.

The app will include features like the Style Council, comprising some of the more influential style icons from around the world who will be on hand to chat with users in real time, and a live feed of luxury fashion items and content trending across the globe.

Other features include the Style Tribes, connecting individuals through communities based on a joint affinity for specific styles or trends and bespoke options like the personalised stylish profile, visible to other The Net Set users.

“Our task was to come up with an app that would allow our customers to socialise while they shop and view items in a new way,” says Alexandra Hoffnung, Creative Director of The Net Set. “The Net Set has its own design language that incorporates iOS8 features with our own direction, so while being stylishly on-brand it also feels fresh and modern and works seamlessly alongside the Net-A-Porter brand too.

Hoffnung adds, “We already have a long and exciting list of features we will be introducing over the coming months and will modify the app according to our community’s desires, so watch this space.”

The Net Set will officially launch on May 13.
