A muted palette of neutral shades sets an upscale urban tone to the Ralph Lauren pre-fall 2016 collection. The just-released look book shows plenty of chic layering, coupled with refined styling and minimal extravagance. The tone-on-tone ensembles are created in sandy hues and light rose shades, along with a few whites and jet blacks.
Airy silhouettes presented with utilitarian influences give the impression of contemporary safari style, while equestrian undertones are also heavily present.
“I was inspired by the purity of clean lines and classic shapes, a romantic minimalism and feminine sophistication created for a modern way of living,” says Ralph Lauren of the collection.
We look forward to seeing the taupe-coloured wide-leg culottes and pleated knee-length skirts when they arrive in store next year.
