New York fashion label Coach has been steadily rising through the ranks in recent years, becoming increasingly edgy, cool and captivating. The brand has just released its global ad campaign, which was shot in Brooklyn against the iconic New York City skyline.

“Coach is about New York City. The word ‘cool’, as we know it, and Coach were both born in the City in 1941 — and they’ve both had 75 years of swagger in pop culture,” says Stuart Vevers, the brand’s creative director. “I wanted to capture that pop sense of cool in this collection. It’s about ease, utility and fun — a type of creative subversion and bringing a new perspective to luxury.”

We’re quite excited about this new direction. Luxe leathers, complete with quilted elements and punky badges are featured in the campaign, while chunky Varsity bomber jackets are paired with mixed-print ensembles, bold floral embroidery and metallic boots. Propped up against retro automobiles, models exude effortless-chic vibes, holding large tote bags as clutches, and wearing layers best described as bulky, but beautiful.

Though it’s currently summer sale season in the UAE, we’ll certainly be saving up for these fall/winter 2016 pieces from Coach — particularly the glorious leather jackets.
