The Kanye kilt, shark-tooth necklace and Rottweiler jumper are but a few examples of the cool, often provocative creations that Riccardo Tisci has designed for Givenchy since 2005. The Italian-born creative director has now lent his innovative touch to Givenchy’s spring 2017 collection of sunglasses, introducing the brand’s iconic Visor model in a new range of colours.

Boldly emblazoned across the hand-constructed wraparound mask are the words: “Real Eyes. Realize. Real Lies”, a message that can be construed as representative of the anarchistic vibe being felt in many parts of the world right now.

The neoprene band in rubber and metal comes in red, white or black, while the glasses themselves stand out in shades of brown with khaki temples; gun metal with Havana temples; and shiny grey with black temples, all with palladium silver lenses.

The new collection of visor sunglasses and detachable straps is now available in Givenchy boutiques and select department stores across the UAE.
