HARARE // Zimbabwe's rival parties are still far away from implementing a power-sharing deal, the opposition Movement for Democratic Change (MDC) said today. "We are still miles, miles, miles behind in terms of the implementation of the deal," the MDC spokesman Nelson Chamisa told South Africa's SAfm radio. But Mr Chamisa added that the MDC had no choice but to remain cautiously optimistic. He was speaking a day before some heads of state from the regional grouping SADC were due to meet in Swaziland to try to help Zimbabwe's ruling ZANU PF and opposition end a deadlock over cabinet positions. Morgan Tsvangirai however was more positive about the Swaziland meeting. "Lets go to SADC (regional grouping) ... We said this issue should be finalised there. This time we won't fail," he told supporters at a rally.
