DUBAI // A British expatriate was molested after accompanying a man home from a Dubai night club, a court heard yesterday.
“I met him at a night club in the Jumeriah Beach Hotel when I was with my friends and he invited us to have some food at his home,” recalled the woman, 23, from the UK.
She and one of her friends went to the man’s apartment and ate with him before deciding to leave at about 5am the next morning. However, the fog was thick so the man told them they should sleep in his room and leave later.
The two women slept on the man’s bed while he slept in another room, but during the night he came in and molested one of them.
The woman said she did not wake up during the attack, but was awoken by her friend who noticed she had been stripped of her clothes.
At the Criminal Court MH, 37, from Egypt, denied a charge of molestation. The case was adjourned to November 20.
