Construction continues apace for Expo 2020 and newly released footage taken by drone gives an impression of what three of the centrepiece pavilions will look like when they're finished.
The foundations for the structures - themed Opportunity, Mobility and Sustainability - are visible in these latest images, complete with graphic representations of what they'll look like upon completion.
Al Wasl Plaza, an outdoor space with a transparent, domed trellis attachment, can also be seen in its early stages.
Earlier this month, the first of the new metro trains that will be used to ferry passengers to and from the event arrived in the UAE, and work continues on the new lines they'll be using.
Million are expected to visit the world fair, which comes to the Middle East for the first time from October 20, 2020 and will run until April 10 the next year.
