Volunteers have come together to support families in need during the holy month by handing out 20,000 environmentally friendly, reusable boxes of Ramadan food items.
It was part of the Mawaed Al Rahman initiative, a joint-effort with telecom company du and the Tarahum Charity Foundation.
The volunteers along with du staff gave out the boxes at Dubai’s Al Nasr Club over a two-week period.
The boxes are now being distributed to families throughout the Northern Emirates during the Holy month.
