Abu Dhabi // The President, Sheikh Khalifa, received well-wishes yesterday from his US counterpart, Barack Obama, after his recent stroke.
The message was given to the Foreign Minister, Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed, by his counterpart, US Secretary of State John Kerry, the state news agency Wam said.
In return, Sheikh Abdullah assured Mr Kerry that Sheikh Khalifa was in good health and gave his thanks to Mr Obama.
Sheikh Khalifa suffered a stroke on January 24 and immediately underwent surgery, said the Ministry of Presidential Affairs.
