UAE weather: Rain expected in Al Ain, Ras Al Khaimah and Fujairah

The National Centre of Meteorology and Seismology reported increasing clouds in Al Ain, Ras Al Khaimah and along the Gulf of Oman coast in Fujairah, which may lead to rain.

ABU DHABI // The eastern and northern areas of the country may have rain coming, despite continuing heat.

The National Centre of Meteorology and Seismology reported increasing cloud in Al Ain, Ras Al Khaimah and along the Gulf of Oman coast in Fujairah, which may lead to rain.

On Tuesday rain fell over Al Ain, Al Quo’a and Ghayathi, a town neighbouring Ruwais in western Abu Dhabi.

Temperatures will range between 29°C and 41°C along the coast, with lows of 23°C and highs of 44°C expected inland.

Winds will be light to moderate and while freshening at times will probably pick up dust and reduce visibility along motorways.

Humidity will increase overnight and on Thursday morning could lead to mist and fog for early-morning commuters.

Conditions will be slight to moderate in the Arabian Gulf and may turn rough at times in the Sea of Oman.
