Congestion was building along the E10 heading into Abu Dhabi with tailbacks reported back from the Al Dhafra Street junction early Wednesday morning.
While there was slow movement on Salam Street from Sea Palace Tunnel to the Ministries Complex in Khalifa Park.
Traffic was also moving slowly on the D61 Hessa Street heading from Dubai Sports City towards the E11. Yet as the morning rolled on with more commuters hitting the street, traffic accumulated near Nad al Sheeba on the E66 Dubai to Al Ain Road was causing delays at the Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road interchange following a minor collision.
Elsewhere the roads of the UAE were largely clear and running smoothly on Wednesday morning.
