The UAE joined forces with international allies at a military exercise in Egypt.
Members of the UAE Armed Forces will exchange expertise and take part in training operations during the 10-day-long Saif Al Arab – or the Sword of Arabs – held at Mohamed Naguib Military Base and other parts of the northern military region.
A number of lectures will be used to share key knowledge.
Military units and equipment arrived from the Emirates, Bahrain and Sudan in recent days.
Saudi Arabia will take part as an observer.
The exercise aims to promote co-operation and bolster military ties between the Egyptian armed forces and other Arab nations.
