ABU DHABI // An Emirati soldier died in hospital on Sunday from the injuries he sustained in the rocket attack in Yemen last month.
Khamis Rashid Al Abdouly was serving with the UAE Armed Forces as part of the Saudi-led Operation Restoring Hope, reported state news agency Wam.
He had been receiving treatment in hospital in Germany following the attack by Houthi rebels on an ammunition base on September 4.
The General Command of the Armed Forces offered its condolences and sympathies to Al Abdouly’s relatives.
