UAE has become a destination for all, says Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed

ABU DHABI // Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed, Minister of Foreign Affairs, has spoken of a growing pride in the UAE and its accomplishments as the country marks its 42nd National Day.

“On this day, our pride grows as our country has become at the forefront in respect of the countries that succeeded in achieving high rates of the United Nations millennium development goals and topping the list of the most advanced, prosperous and stable countries in the world, as well as classified high in the human development field, as the country achieves happiness and satisfaction for its citizens.”

Sheikh Abdullah said the UAE had become a destination for all – tolerant, open and prosperous – and it was all made possible by the vision of the Founding Father, Sheikh Zayed.

“Today, we recall with pride and loyalty, the memory of the founders, led by the founding leader, the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, who led with wisdom and patience, the blessed march of nation-building, taking us to the prosperity, tranquillity, security and stability we are enjoying nowadays,” Sheikh Abdullah said.
