<span>Good deeds have a significant place in Islam, worshippers will </span><span>be told on Friday</span><span>. </span> <span>People are asked to engage in acts of kindness and justice while regularly remembering God and thereby receive His blessings. People will be rewarded</span><span> based on their good deeds in the worldly life.</span> <span>On the day of judgment, the degree of light each person receives varies based on his actions</span><span>. But during their lives, each person has the opportunity to perform good deeds.</span> <span>The first deed that earns the believer light is the recitation of the Quran.</span> <span>“[This is] a book that we have revealed to you, oh Mohammed, that you might bring mankind out of the darkness into the light,” says the Quran. </span> <span>Worshippers are encouraged to </span><span>perform their prayers on time. Walking to the mosque for prayers</span><span> will also be rewarded by God with light.</span> <span>The sermon says that all good and righteous acts lend brightness to the face of the believer.</span> <span>The sermon will urge people to obey God. Obedience, it says, earns the believer a light in this life and the next.</span> <span>Prophet Mohammed would often render this supplication: “Let there be light in my heart, light in my sight and light in my hearing, light on my right and light on my left, light above me and light below me, light in front of me and light behind me, and make light abundant for me.”</span> <br/> <span>People who strengthen ties and love within the community will also be rewarded</span><span>.</span> <span>The sermon says: “Oh Lord, we beseech you to bless all of Muslim countries and the whole world with stability and peace. We seek your favour to send us wealthy rain and make us not among those who are despondent.</span> <span>“Give us from the blessings of the sky and grow for us from the blessings of the Earth.</span>
