SHARJAH // Four people were injured when the 4x4 they were travelling in left the road and fell into a ditch.
A 33-year-old Emirati and three Pakistanis were rescued from the Toyata FJ Cruiser by Khor Fakkan police after the vehicle slipped into the water drainage hole on Tuesday morning.
Sharjah Police eastern region command centre were alerted to the incident at 12.15am and dispatched emergency crews and police to the scene.
The driver and passengers were taken to Khor Fakkan hospital treatment for minor injuries.
Officers urged residents to exercise caution and abide with speed limits.
