UAE traffic: Multiple accidents in Dubai

Several accidents in Dubai have caused congestion on internal roads as police ask motorists to exercise caution on their daily commute.

Multiple separate collisions on S112 Maliha Road on the intersection with Emirates Road have caused heavy congestion for those heading towards Kalba.

Another accident on Sheikh Zayed Road lead to minor delays to those en route to Sharjah.

Despite Sunday being Dubai Municipality's seventh annual Car Free Day, heavy fog caused 136 accidents on the roads according to Dubai traffic police.

This morning a severe accident caused a car to flip on Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Road towards Abu Dhabi, police have since cleared it up.

In the capital, traffic fares calmer as commuters driving into Abu Dhabi experienced slight congestion upon crossing Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan road into the island.

Road works coming into Mussaffah on the E30 are causing usual delays from just beyond the pier to right before Dalma Mall.

Khaleej Al Arabi road is experiencing its usual delay at the first intersection with Al Saada road, Abu Dhabi Police urge caution.
