UAE traffic: Minor road incidents in Dubai

Dubai Police warned motorists against driving recklessly as minor incidents scattered across the emirate caused congestion.

DUBAI // A number of minor road incidents were reported across Dubai on Tuesday morning, causing delays but no serious injuries.

Dubai Police warned motorists against driving recklessly. “There is always someone waiting for you to return safely,” the police said on Twitter.

Traffic incidents were reported on Al Naseem Street near Jumeirah Lakes Towers heading to Sheikh Zayed Road and on Al Khail Road after the Al Marabea street interchange Abu Dhabi-bound.

Reports of heavy congestion on Hessa Street from Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road towards Jumeirah were reported as well as a minor accident causing tailbacks on Al Khail Road before the Al Meydan Road exit towards The Dubai Mall.

An accident on Dubai-bound Sheikh Zayed Road, near Safa Park, also caused massive delays. No serious accidents were reported in Dubai or Abu Dhabi.
