Motorists have been warned to drive slowly this morning as dust clouds have reduced visibility to 2000m.
The dust will remain heavy until 1pm today, according to the National Centre of Meteorology.
Otherwise, traffic is running smoothly this morning.
There are tailbacks near Dubai Investment Park on the E311 and E77 intersection.
Motorists can expect slight delays on the E311 and D44 intersection near International City heading northwest on the Ras Al Khor road.
Tailbacks on into Dubai on the Sharjah border extend about 4km on the E11, from Al Bait Al Malaki Mandi Restaurant to the D91 intersection near the Abu Hail Metro Station, while those on the E311 into Dubai from Sharjah are reaching 6km, beginning 1km before the National Paints Roundabout.
No delays have been reported in Abu Dhabi.
