UAE traffic: Crash causes congestion in Abu Dhabi

A crash at about 8am on Tuesday caused heavy traffic on Abu Dhabi's highways.

ABU DHABI // Drivers on one of the capital’s main motorways ran into heavy traffic on Tuesday after a car crash about 8am.

Those driving into Abu Dhabi on Al Khaleej Al Arabi Street after Mussaffah Bridge were advised to be careful because of the congestion.

In Dubai, a lorry and a car collided on Emirates Road about 6.30am.

About the same time, a crash involving several vehicles was reported on Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road, ahead of Al Houdh roundabout towards Abu Dhabi.
