DUBAI // A couple of accidents have resulted in delays on the roads this morning.
An accident on the exit of Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road heading on to Al Khail Road at Jumeirah Village Circle resulted in queues.
Another on Hessa Street near the Nord Anglia International School was causing delays.
Elsewhere, there were queues at Yalayis Street and Jebel Ali-Al Hibab Road at Jebel Ali Village, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road at Dubai Investments Park, and Sheikh Zayed Road from Al Manara to Dubai Internet City.
There were long tailbacks from Sharjah into Dubai with Al Wahda Street to Dubai International Airport and Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road in the same direction to City Centre Mirdif bumper to bumper.
In the capital, morning commuters experienced traffic jams on the Abu Dhabi-Al Shahama Road at Eastern Mangroves, the Abu Dhabi-Al Ain Road at Al Maqta, and 30th Street at Abu Dhabi Gate City.
An accident on the Abu Dhabi-Al Ain Road at Mohammed bin Zayed City also resulted in long delays.
There were also delays on Abu Dhabi-Sweihan-Al Hayer Road and International Airport Road near Zayed University.
