DUBAI // Four separate traffic accidents on Tuesday morning brought parts of the city to a standstill.

The Twitter account, @trafficdxb, which provides traffic updates from commuters, said the resulting tailbacks had hampered people’s morning drive.

Dubai Police could not be reached to confirm.

Two accidents were reported on Sheikh Zayed Road. The first took place just past Mall of the Emirates, heading towards Dubai Mall, while the second occurred just before the Trade Centre Tunnel, also heading towards the mall.
