Sharjah’s RTA to build new residential roads

SHARJAH // New residential roads are to be built by the Roads and Transport Authority in Sharjah.

According to Al Ittihad, the Arabic-language sister publication of The National, Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, member of the Supreme Council and the Ruler of Sharjah passed the order.

During an interview on the Sharjah radio and television programme “Direct Line” the head of the RTA in Sharjah, Yussuf Al Suweiji, said the project would be carried out in phases and would include areas of Al Qarayin, Al Nouf, Hoshi and Al Falah.

The RTA has selected a contracting company for the work, which will take two years to complete.
