ABU DHABI // A series of accidents on Wednesday morning in Dubai caused delays for motorists during their commute.
A number of accidents were reported on E611 (Emirates Road) near Al Awir towards Abu Dhabi.
At 7.50am, TrafficDXB reported an accident on the E44 Al Khail Road after the Dubai Mall exit towards Abu Dhabi, which caused congestion and delays.
Traffic was heavy on both sides of Airport Road near terminal 3 due to an ongoing construction
Motorists were urged to drive with caution and look out for a build-up of traffic along Sheikh Zayed Road after the Oasis Centre towards Abu Dhabi, according to TrafficDXB.
At 9am, another accident on Hessa Street before the Al Khail Road exit towards Jumeirah and Sheikh Zayed Road was causing tailbacks.
Despite some congested roads, no major accidents were reported in Abu Dhabi.
