RAS AL KHAIMAH // A man was killed in Ras Al Khaimah on Monday afternoon after he lost control of his vehicle and crashed into a deep cement hole.
The motorist, from an Asian country, lost control of the wheel after a tyre on the vehicle exploded, said Col Ali Al Alkum, director of the RAK Police traffic and patrol department.
The body was taken to hospital, said Col Alkum. He urged all motorists to carry out periodic maintenance on tyres.
