SHARJAH // Four people were seriously injured in separate run-over accidents around the emirate on the same day this week.
On Tuesday, a 12-year-old Indian boy was hit by car in Abu Shogara. He was taken to Al Qasimi hospital to receive treatment.
On the same day, an Indian man was injured in a similar accident in Muleiha, while another Indian man was hurt in Sharjah Industrial Area 2.
An Egyptian woman was injured by a car while crossing the street in Al Majaz 3. She was taken to Al Qasimi hospital.
Last month, A 70-year-old Moroccan man was killed when he was hit by a car while crossing a road in Al Khan, and in January a 30-year-old Pakistani man was killed after being hit by a car in Al Humarya in the early hours of the morning.
Sharjah police urged motorists and pedestrians to exercise caution.
