Etihad pilots braved high winds to safely land their superjumbo as Storm Dennis lashed London Heathrow.
Footage captured the A380 being blown around on the approach to the runway on Saturday.
The four-engined jet was blown from side to side as it attempted a 'crab' landing - a manoeuvre that sees pilots fly the plane into the wind, perpendicular to the runway.
In the video, the landing gear's wheels eventually touch down, pointing across the runway instead of forwards, before the A380 swings around to face the runway straight.
Dozens of flights were cancelled at Heathrow, but the pilots managed to land on the first attempt.
“Weather conditions at London Heathrow during the recent storm event, Dennis, caused some very challenging conditions for all pilots," an Etihad spokesman said.
"A combination of very sophisticated aircraft technologies and pilot training today allow aircraft to operate in conditions that they couldn’t 20 years ago."
The British army was drafted in on Saturday as the storm descended on the country. Last weekend Storm Ciara caused widespread flooding and flight cancellations.
