Abu Dhabi has launched a free public bus service to this year's Sheikh Zayed Heritage Festival, which gets under way on November 20.

The emirate's Integrated Transport Centre on Tuesday said the buses will depart Abu Dhabi's main terminal every hour from 3pm to 6pm.

Return services from the venue in Al Wathba will be available from 5pm until 10pm.

Buses will stop at the Bain Al Jessrain Co-operative Society Supermarket and Bani Yas Bus Station during their trip in both directions.

The festival will runs until February 20 and the entry fee is set at Dh5, which can also be paid online..

Wearing of face masks and maintaining physical distance are mandatory. Staff and participating vendors will have to take Covid-19 tests.

There is a Dh5 entry fee and people can pay at the front door or book online.
Taxis will also be available at the venue.
