ABU DHABI // Three men have been arrested for stealing Dh3.2m worth of cash and cheques were from an office in Al Mina.
Police said the three Asian men broke into the office and stole the safe which contained Dh200,000 in cash and Dh3m worth of cheques.
Following an investigation the men were identified and tracked down, alongside the car used in the crime.
The car contained parts of the stolen safe which the men had disposed of in Khalifa City before driving to Mussaffah, where two of the men worked, according to Major Saeed Al Dhaheri, chief of City Police Station in Abu Dhabi.
The three men were arrested, the stolen money seized and the case referred to judicial authorities.
