The future of the UAE pavilion - video

From the drawing board and design stages, the UAE pavilion set up in Milan was always intended to move to Abu Dhabi’s Masdar City and modifications will be made to convert it into a permanent structure. Commissioned by the National Media Council, the pavilion is the creation of British architects Foster + Partners, with exhibits behind 12-metre high walls. The pavilion architect’s team photographed UAE’s sand dunes to recreate the ripples on the pavilion walls.
