RAS AL KHAIMAH // A traffic officer at Ras Al Khaimah police suffered multiple injuries following a traffic accident while he was patrolling on Tuesday.
According to Al Ittihad, The National's sister publication, Sgt Abdullah Ibrahim, was taken to Saqr Hospital to be treated for his injuries.
Col Ahmed Al Naqbi, head of traffic and patrols at RAK Police, said the officer was on patrol along the emirate’s corniche when he was involved in the traffic accident.
Hospital administration said the officer is now in a stable condition.
