ABU DHABI // Rainfall is expected in parts of the country on Wednesday as unstable conditions lead to cloud formation, strong winds and rough seas.
The National Centre of Meteorology and Seismology warned of rough conditions in the Sea of Oman with north-westerly winds reaching speeds of 55 kph and waves as high as two metres.
The centre said with March being the last month of winter we can expect to see temperatures rise.
The highest temperature recorded in UAE on Tuesday was 32.1°C at Fujairah Airport at 2.15pm.
High temperatures along the coast will reach between 21°C and 24°C on Wednesday.
In the interior, highs will be between 22°C and 28°C and, in the mountains, between 18°C and 23°C.
Continued rainfall is forecast for the northern and eastern parts of the country on Thursday with an increase of humidity during the night and early morning leading to fog.
