ABU DHABI // It might be a good idea to take an umbrella with you if heading outside on Sunday as forecasters are predicting rain accompanied by cooler temperatures.
The National Centre of Meteorology and Seismology said partly cloudy skies during the day will increase gradually leading to a chance of rain in the evening over scattered areas and a “significant fall in temperatures.”
Light to moderate winds during the day may blow up dust and sand at times, especially in the west of the country. In the evening, the wind will strengthen to between 30 and 50 kph.
Expect the sea to be “rough to very rough” in the Arabian Gulf and moderate to rough in the Oman Sea, said the centre.
In the capital temperatures will range between 27C to 15C. Dubai’s high is expected to hit 26C and a low of 16C. The coolest temperatures are forecast for Ras Al Khaimah, which will see a high of 27C and a low of 11C on Sunday.
