DUBAI // Guidelines for public behaviour while on the Dubai Canal boardwalk have been detailed by the Roads and Transport Authority.
The authority said the use of skateboards, bikes or motorbikes on the boardwalk is banned, other than at designated places.
It also reminded the public that it is forbidden to walk dogs, wear revealing clothing, light campfires, barbecues or shisha, or jump over the rails of the boardwalk.
Nabeel Saleh, director of roads at the RTA, said: “Not abiding by the said laws will hold offenders legally accountable for their actions.”
