Humanitarian and relief agencies working in Jordan thanked the President, Sheikh Khalifa, for ordering immediate winter assistance worth US$5 million (Dh18.4m) for Syrian refugees.
The UAE has sent hundreds of tonnes of relief supplies, the state news agency Wam reported.
