ABU DHABI // A man joined the local branch of the Muslim Brotherhood after it was ordered to be shut down, the Federal Supreme Court heard on Monday.
Emirati M S M, 28, was accused of joining the UAE Brotherhood that had been declared illegal.
Many other members of the organisation had been jailed at a trial in 2012.
The defendant denied the charges.
The case was adjourned to November 2.
